Job Position
Senior Manager / Manager (Internal Audit)
Major Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head (Internal Audit) in developing corporate audit strategies, policies and procedures
  • Schedule, plan and execute internal audit projects and/or ad hoc reviews/investigations on different areas to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control and compliance
  • Assess risks of the company and evaluate internal control procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of its systems and operations
  • Ensure risks are effectively identified and constructive advice with practical recommendations are provided in solving or mitigating risks and control issues
  • Communicate audit results in a clear, professional and constructive manner
  • Prepare audit reports and other regular reports on audit findings and recommendations for presentation to the Management and Board of Directors
  • Follow up remedial status of issues identified during audit
  • Supervise sub-ordinates in their daily duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Head (Internal Audit)
Requirements
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, IT or other relevant disciplines
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, CPA and/or CIA qualifications
  • Over 8 years of experience in internal or external audit field, preferably with IT audit experience, and at least 5 years at supervisory level. Candidates with at least 5 years of experience, including 3 years in IT audit, may be considered for the position of Manager (Internal Audit).   
  • Sound knowledge of internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements, including guidelines issued by the HKMA
  • Sound knowledge of IT controls and cyber-security would be an advantage
  • Supervisory and audit experience in Big-4 professional accounting firms will be highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
