Job Position
Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager (Compliance & Company Secretary)
Major Responsibilities
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting-related work for existing operations and new local and cross-border initiatives which are designated under Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance (PSSVFO) and other relevant ordinances
  • Maintain the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (PFMIs) Disclosure Framework
  • Conduct compliance self-assessment to meet oversight requirement of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority
  • Perform research on regulatory updates and relevant compliance issues
  • Perform company secretarial duties and related work for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Provide support to management for board and committee work and give advice on corporate governance matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
  • Degree holder in legal, business administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably gained from banking, financial or information technology sector
  • Well versed in the ordinances related to the banking/ financial industry and good knowledge of compliance rules, regulatory requirements, procedures and guidelines
  • Professional qualification in company secretary, such as HKICS is an advantage
  • Good writing and communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and analytical skills; self-motivated and independent
