Senior Manager (Cloud Platform)
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of the company’s cloud platform including design, analysis, implementation and support to ensure highly reliable cloud platform for the company
- Manage a team of internal cloud specialists with an external managed service vendor supports to develop, implement, enhance and operate the cloud platform and related infrastructure components based on user / business requirements and technology trends
- Act as technical expert to lead on troubleshooting of any incident or technical issue on cloud platform with vendor and internal supports
- Lead the implementation and execution of processes and standards to optimise the use of cloud service
- Lead the development and management of DevOps and SysOps-related matters, collaborate with application teams to enable the application systems to run on Cloud platform
- Review cloud environment and related operation regularly, and suggest improvement opportunities to the management
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Requirements
- University degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably gained from major financial institutions with at least 5 years at managerial level
- Experience in managing system infrastructure (e.g. virtualization, computing system, storage, network, container and K8S), cloud management platform, DevOps automation tool, etc.
- Experience and knowledge on Ansible Tower, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Python, Ruby, Java script, JSON related tools and scripts skills are preferable
- Strong technical troubleshooting skill in a complex infrastructure or cloud platform environment
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
- Good analytical, presentation, documentation and report writing skills
- Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position
