Manager (Procurement Risk Management)
Major Responsibilities
- Manage procurement process including preparation, review and evaluation of quotations, tender proposals and purchase order for compliance and the company’s best interest
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance throughout the procurement process
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with vendors and suppliers
- Review and formulate procurement guidelines that align with company goals
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and vendor risk assessment, and manage the approved vendor list of the company
- Coordinate and facilitate the operation of the Procurement Committee
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supplier performance to senior management
Requirements
- University education in business administration, supply chain management or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, supplier management and/or risk management with at least 5 years at supervisory or managerial level. Experience in IT procurements is an advantage
- Strong negotiation and contract management skill
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent integrity, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
