Manager (Risk Management)
Major Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to ensure department’s alignment with organizational goals and priorities
- Support the development and implementation of department strategy and initiatives
- Lead and manage critical initiatives and projects across different teams within the Risk Management Department, driving execution and tracking progress to completion
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across the Risk Management Department and with key stakeholders
- Provide support to CRO in the preparation of materials for Board, senior management and external meetings
- Lead fact-based analysis to develop relevant hypothesis for discussions and recommend strategic options for consideration by senior management in relation to HKICL’s risk management, development and improvement
- Recommend improvements and best practices on cyber governance, risk and compliance
- Handle special projects and ad hoc requests
Requirements
- University degree preferably in information technology, cyber security, computer science or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in cyber security, technology risk management and/or auditing
- Understanding of technology risk management and cybersecurity best practices, with knowledge in technology compliance matters related to FinTech, data privacy, and/or industry practices
- CISA, CISM, CISSP or ITIL Certificates and/or other IT and/or cybersecurity-related certificates would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills, with strong attention to details
- Committed, self-motivated and action-oriented personality with strong ownership and resourcefulness to drive results and performance; ability to build a trusted-advisor relationship with working partners and senior executive
- Good analytical and communication skills and able to work under pressure, attention to details and dedicated
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise messages
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Manager (Risk Management)
